A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a young woman who was shot in the head at a Philadelphia bar. Anthony Nelson, from Philadelphia, was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City on Wednesday. She was at the bar after stopping at a Topgolf location when the man and his friends entered the bar to play pool.
The table was occupied as the bar hosts a pool tournament on Tuesdays and the man became enraged and was escorted out of the bar
The shooting took place outside of the Philly Bar and Restaurant around 11.30pm
[img][/img] Nelson is alleged to have fired 15 shots, with 10 hitting the building and five hitting the glass windows.
Holton was the only person hit by a bullet in the shooting
The city has seen more than 250 homicides already this year. Last year, the city recorded the worst ever homicide rate with 562 in a year. 'Someone goes out for 10 or 15 minutes and they're dead,' Holton said dejectedly.
