So those issues that we give up as moms to make our artwork and to be productive-it did not come about to me how grateful I was to have this time with my kids and to be in a position to form how they internalize what’s taking place in this environment-not just with the pandemic, but talking about Black Lives Matter and taking them to protests, even though they have to dress in masks. A ton of theaters have spoken about their assist of the Black Lives Matter motion as if Black life haven’t now mattered for generations. Putting Black and Brown people today on a phase, putting BIPOC persons on the phase, is not enough. I do want individuals to understand the framework I am coming from, so that we’re all obvious about why I’m declaring what I’m heading to say: The land that we’re sitting down on now is stolen land.
