I completely ignored the need for a diaper wipe warmer as I made the baby's registry. I'm a first time mom , and I thought that it would be a big deal if the diaper wipes are warm or not but I quickly realized that I was wrong. My infant daughter screamed each when we utilized a cold wipe for a diaper changes. It disrupted her sleep even and we'd stay up all night having to console her to get her back to sleep.
By using this warmer, I do not need to worry about my newborn crying during transition from shock cleaning her up with a cold washcloth. The fact that it heats from the top helps keep the other wipes from drying out.
