Companies will soon be able to buy domestically-made electric vans after Vauxhall announced plans for kombi Servisi UK production. Members of the Electric Fleets Coalition, which includes BT, Royal Mail and British Gas owner Centrica, have been calling for more of the vehicles to be made in Britain. Some of that demand has now been answered after Vauxhall said it would make vans, including the smaller Combi model, at its plant in Ellesmere Port.
