Hampered by a slow and long recovery from an accident he has proven the wait to be well worth it. A collection of songs with his band that he has been performing with for those same nine years,he introduces us to a whole new cast of characters. A temptress in Kryptonite and to the unsavory people he has met along the way in Big Bosom Lady. The love story of Aberdeen between a wolf and a hawk who despite their challenges never lose sight of one another, shows the complexity of his writing as he weaves you through the day and night forest and sky. He can also kick it up a notch as he heads home in Mama Calling Me and laments over a lost relationship in River of Tears. He proves to be a worthy balladeer with very personal song about his deceased father and what he gave him provided him with in First he Was My Father. He furthers it with poignant and truthful songwriting in Faces Of War exposing the loss for all that is suffered during war. Some blues to walk you through a day with Artie as he takes you through town and back home again. The band shines as the say Farewell with a move snd groove ending to the musical journey.
