Exercise reverses some of the bad effects of stress on the body, and can even be good for reduslim amazon mental health, the study authors note. Here are a few things you can do every day to squeeze activity into your life, whether you’re an experienced exerciser or someone who’s never managed to find the time.

Get moving during the day. Consider doing moderate exercise like a brisk walk, take a morning jog or practice a favorite physical activity you enjoy — get moving for at least five minutes at a time.

If you work full time, carve out lunchtime for a walk or a brisk run. Grab your walking shoes, your favorite tunes and a cup of coffee and head outside. Or consider a yoga class that’s open to the public or even a local spin class, Zumba class, step class or Pilates class.

Or, simply use the buddy system and get a buddy to exercise with you, say at the same time or in the same place.

"One of the biggest reasons people don’t lose weight is they are doing it on a piecemeal basis," says Ericka Fernandez, an exercise physiologist at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. "A lot of people say they don’t have enough time in the day to exercise. Then they just end up not exercising at all."

Find a local exercise class that’s convenient for you. Let your co-workers know about a class you’re interested in or ask your doctor what’s available in your area. And if you’re going to a gym or class that you frequent, take some time to look over the facility to see what types of classes are offered. Try them out and pick a class that fits your schedule.

"It has to be a class that you can walk to," says Fernandez.

That way, you’re already walking or biking to the gym, and you can easily walk to your exercise class.

Every day, exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes, and do so on five days a week. Give yourself a break after a week, and have a plan in place to do more if you want to, even if that means starting with just a few minutes each day.
