Around 75 per cent of spouses said that they wished their husbands would put less effort into levelling up their character, and more into their marriage, according to a Brigham Young University study of 349 couples with at least one online game
Videogame fans have long awaited any film that will do its source material justice; traditionally films based on games perform poorly, ranging from the decent efforts of Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Doom, and Mortal Kombat, to the abysmal Mario Bros, Street Fighter, Alone In The Dark, Mortal Kombat Annihilation.
This one was a loooong time coming -- Capcom announced it back in 2015 and then went dark for nearly three years. proved to be a terrifying return to form for flyff gold the series, but it seemed like might be lost in the ether.
Though a number of tentpole titles have come out in the past twelve months or so, including Battlefield 5, Apex Legends is the one I keep coming back to. Just one more game, then time for bed, I promise.
Called Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet, the new show will star McElhenney as Ian Grimm, the head of a game studio who has "an ego the size of a city bus." In the show, the studio is about to release an expansion to its popular free mmorpg, Mythic Quest.
Outer Wilds is essentially a mystery story that combines space exploration with environmental story-telling Whereas most video games set in space, like No Man's Sky or Elite, tend to focus on scale, Outer Wilds is technically small. It's a perfectly constructed snow globe of a universe that operates on its own meticulously designed set of rules. Every planet, every rock, has its own orbit patterns and its own gravity.
You can critique it as a walking simulator or a self-indulgent marathon of celebrity cameos and nonsensical plot turns, and you'd be right. But Death Stranding is also a game that subverts the great joy of blockbuster games, the carefully designed series of Things You Enjoy and Things That Provide Instant Satisfaction. Instead, to win you must embrace tedium. You must embark on thankless tasks, wandering wastelands wondering if anyone will even use the zip line you're constructing. Following its central themes of connection and building community, it's a game you can choose to play not for yourself, but for others, in a way few games have ever tried.
As Jesse Faden, you explore the uniquely obscure Oldest House, an office building plucked right out of a season of X-Files or Twin Peaks. Traversing the seemingly fully-destructible environments -- full of floating bodies that never stop chanting their hypnotic warnings -- is only eclipsed by the insane amount of lore-dripping collectibles. In fact, Control might have some of the best audio logs, backstory videos and random notes I've ever seen in a game.

Classic WoW is a 2006 version of the MMORPG, before the first expansion was released. The rerelease is full of charm, without the extensive amount of content found in the current version of the game. In the past, I tried my hand at the game, but that "Warcrack" never stuck until now. The game transports you back to your younger days, although there are far more tools to help get you to level 60 at your disposal such as online walkthroughs, Discord chat and YouTube videos.
Ubisoft's E3 press conference went from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia got on stage to talk about his new show for Apple TV Plus. Those watching the E3 event on the ground in Los Angeles and streaming live were treated to a mini trailer for the show, which you can watch below.
According to the official website, the film is set in the normally peaceful realm of Azeroth, now on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another
Truly one of the best uses of dynamic, programmatic music I've seen in a game. The art style, the pacing. Ape Out is one of the most simple, most entertaining, most artistic games I've played in recent memory.
I almost never play games more than once. I played Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice through four times. It's just absolutely brilliant. I'm a fan of the From Software games like Dark Souls in general, but Sekiro mixes up the formula by focusing more on action than deep role-playing mechanics. In the process, the company redefined combat to fit a samurai/shinobi style. It's breathtaking and so exhilarating. Sekiro has the best close-quarters combat in any game I've ever experienced, and I expect other games to be mimicking this for years.
Stressful though it might be, I am absolutely in love with this game and replayed a chunk of it over the weekend to get Jill Valentine's letter. Capcom added it in a surprise update shortly after the announcement of the (which will likely be my most-played game of 2020).
