Canberra local Lynne Goodyer took a photo of the van after seeing it burnt out on Canberra Avenue. 'I was walking to work, at around 9am on Tuesday morning where I saw a police car and fire truck blocking and diverting access to National Circuit because a burn out VW van,' Mr Goodyer told Daily Mail Australia. 'By the time I arrived, the fire in the van was extinguished and an officer was underneath the van, maybe to see how the fires started. 'The entire back end of the van was burnt out,' said Ms Goodyer.
