Liron Khaidarovich Khamidullin (born October 22 (according to his passport – November 10) 1932, Staraya Tyugalbuga, Kuibyshev region, USSR) – Tatar writer and translator, Honored Worker of Culture of the TASSR (1982).

Biography

Born on October 22, 1932 in the village. Old Tyugalbuga (Kuibyshev region, USSR), but it was recorded in the registration book of the village council only on November 10. He graduated from high school in the village. Old Belogorka, Orenburg region.

In 1949-1956. studied at the Aktobe technical school of railway transport (Kazakhstan). During his studies at the technical school, he began to publish articles in the Kazakh language in the regional newspaper „Socialist Zhol". After graduating from college in 1956-1960. he worked in the city of Orsk, while studying at the All-Union Correspondence Polytechnic Institute and the University of Marxism-Leninism.

In 1961 he moved to Kazan. In 1967-1983. headed the Tatar branch of the Literary Fund of the Union of Writers of the USSR; in 1985-1993 worked as an editor at the Tatar Book Publishing House. In 1998-2005. served as a senior researcher at the Institute of the Tatar Encyclopedia of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In 1968 the first book of his stories „Yulda" („On the way") was published, in 1971 – the story „Dala irtuse" („The steppe is awakening"), in 1990 – a collection of stories and essays „Mirages".

He speaks Kazakh, Karakalpak, Tatar, Uzbek and Russian.
