Ghost reveries Is the eighth studio album by the Swedish progressive death metal band Opeth, released in 2005.

Ghost reveries was the band’s first album since the transition to Roadrunner Records, and the first album to be recorded with permanent keyboardist Per Wiberg. The album was recorded between 15 March and 1 June at Fascination Street Studios in _rebro, Sweden. The artwork for the album was done by Travis Smith, who has been with Opeth since 1999. „Ghost Reveries" was released on August 29, 2005 in Europe and August 30, 2005 in North America. It became Opeth’s most successful album, peaking at number 64 on the Billboard 200 chart.

On June 26, 2005, the first and only single from this album was released, which included the almost halved composition „The Grand Conjuration". A video clip was also filmed for this song.

Re-release of „Ghost Reveries" was released on October 31, 2006 in digipack with additional DVD. On the CD, in addition to the album itself, the song „Soldier of Fortune" was included, a cover of the 1974 Deep Purple song. The DVD included a 40-minute documentary about the making of the album, Beyond Ghost Reveries, the entire album in Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound, and a video for The Grand Conjuration.
