RMI Education and Skills Strengthening Project


The Government of the Republic of Marshall Islands has actually received funding from the World Bank for the Education and Skills Strengthening Project (ESSP) cost. It intends to apply part of the earnings for consulting services.

Women and Youth Training for

In her opening remarks, Secretary for the Ministry of Culture and Internal Affairs, Brenda Alik, highlighted the significance of cumulative action in developing a climate-resilient nation."It is our responsibility to come together and interact. . The Marshall Islands: Skills Training and Vocational Education Project Assesses the efficiency of the project and highlights lessons. of the Marshall Islands to focus on technical and trade education training reforms. In 2000, ADB approved a loan for $9.1 million to enhance skills training to supply well-trained employees required for sustained financial and social development. This was to be attained through an integrated nationwide abilities training system. The project included 4 elements: development of a career awareness program, abilities training enhancement, enhanced abilities training opportunities for women and youth, and institutional conditioning.
