Model Cindy Kimberly, who shot to fame in 2015 when Justin Bieber shared her photo on Instagram, is now a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue rookie.
announced this week that Cindy, 23, is the 'latest addition to the SI Swim Family,' and posed for the upcoming issue in a very tiny white bikini.
It's certainly a meteoric rise for the Dutch-born stunner, who became instantly recognizable at age 17 when Bieber shared a snapshot of her face with the adoring caption: 'Omg who is this!!'

Justin's photo of Cindy earned a whopping 1.85 million likes, and she has since gone on to model for brands including Marc Jacobs, Boohoo, and Savage x Fenty.
She's also posed for Maxim, GQ Spain, Cosmopolitan Spain, Elle Spain, Vanity Fair Spain, and Glamour Spain. 
Now she's adding Sports Illustrated to the list with a shoot by photographer Ben Watts in Barbados this year. 
In the photo that was released yesterday, Cindy wears a too-small white bikini top while her curly hair cascades around her shoulders.
She smiles at the camera and holds up her right arm, showing off a tattoo.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Cindy said that '15-year-old me would never believe me if I told her' about modeling for the magazine






'I think of modeling as acting,' she said. 'I tell myself I will be fierce that day or sexy or soft. And it all comes out in the photos'

'At 23, I'm finally starting to feel like a woman rather than a girl who's supposed to feel like a woman. That's what 18-22 felt like,' she said. 
'I feel like I learned so much about myself, a woman's experience in a world created for men, sexuality, my place in the world, my own body, that I wish I had known certain things I was feeling were normal.'

Cindy had previously opened up about the wild experience of having Justin Bieber share her photo, telling a Spanish news site it felt like a 'fairytale.'

'A friend of mine often used to joke that one day I'd be one of the girls he talked about and I didn't believe her.
'My life's changed positively since Justin appeared in my life.
'At the beginning I felt completely overwhelmed and didn't know how to deal with it but now I'm getting used to it,' she said. 
Before being discovered by Justin — and subsequently snapped up by a modeling agency — the then-teenager was babysitting services for about $6.50 to $8 an hour.
