75% Of Swing Voters Say Dems Are 'out Of Touch' And 'condescending'

Polling conducted for the campaign arm of the House Republicans found that 75 per cent of battleground voters believed that Democrats were 'out of touch' and 'condescending.'  
Additionally, 67 per cent said Democratic spending in Congress was 'out of control.' 
The new National Republican Congressional Committee poll surveyed voters from 77 swing Congressional districts, which President Joe Biden won, on average, by 5.5 points. 
Now, Republicans lead in the generic ballot in these districts by 4 points - and have seen a 7-point improvement since February 2021, the NRCC said.  
At the same time, Biden's numbers continue to crumble. 
'The NRCC's latest battleground survey confirms that Joe Biden and Democrats face an increasingly challenging political environment,' . 'Battleground voters continue to hold Democrats responsible for the negative impact that record-high inflation, soaring crime, and the crisis along our southern border are having on their lives.'

Of those increasing prices, 56 per cent rated gas as the biggest hindrence to their families, while 41 per cent rated it rising food costs.

Biden has pointed to a number of pre-existing leases companies could use to produce more gas, blasting them for prioritizing stock buybacks over increasing production. 
Another 31 per cent of battleground voters believed high gas prices were thanks to the ongoing war in Ukraine and sanctions of Russian oil.  
The poll was conducted March 12-16 among registered likely voters from 77 swing Congressional districts and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 per cent.
