A Power Rangers Ninja Storm game review has finally revealed the much anticipated release of the movie Ninja Storm, featuring the return of Dan Butler as the evil Taskmaster, bringing the Power Rangers back to life on the big screen. The story kicks off with a bang as a bloodthirsty serial killer called the Black Ranger attacks the local radio station in an attempt to get the attention of some blond girl. When a mysterious girl named Crystal appears and tells the station attendant that her father owns the radio, the Black Ranger sets out to get his hands on the crystal in order to get the attention of the blonde girl.


Unfortunately for him, the girl manages to get away from him and thus before he knows what is happening he's in trouble. Once the two manage to escape from the burning police station, he makes his way into the city and manages to steal the helicopter. As he flies off the way he comes across the Ninja Storm Team, consisting of three powerful women who are determined to put an end to his evil plans. Once they manage to corner him, however, the evil Black Ranger appears and proves to be a threat to their team.


This fight takes place in a large park located in the city center known as Midway City. Dan Butler returns as the evil Black Ranger and this time around he doesn't have any spooky blonde hair to hide his weakness. He wears a purple shirt instead, but regardless of this outfit he still manages to turn heads thanks to one particular scene where he raises his hand and leaves one of his fingers as a sign of submission. In the background of this shot we get to see one of Crystal's mothers placing her hand on her son's shoulder, a gesture that suggests that she's happy about his escape.


The two evil female ninjas in the group are two of the best known members of the organization known as the Dark Rangers. In order to take out Crystal, she has two other ninjas drop down from the trees onto the scene. She then quickly turns her attention to one of the hand marks, pointing it at them with her finger. Before either of them can stop her, however, a lone soldier steps in and imprisons the evil woman in a pink dress. With no other choice, the Ninjas go after Crystal, but she easily dodges their attacks and they finally give up.


Back at the lab, Dr. Patrick gives Crystal a patch that when placed on her arm will make her look like her real eye. Apparently this magical power also has some unwanted side effects. When Crystal goes to save the villagers that were being attacked by the Ninjas, she finds out that the Ninjas have turned all of the villagers into mindless beings that do nothing but follow orders. In anger, Crystal attacks the Ninja guards and nearly captures them before giving up and leaving. Once she makes it out of the village, she finds that the Ninjas have transformed the remaining villagers into mindless slaves and leads them to the labs where the Doctor works on trying to cure her of her disorder.

Although I love both episodes of Black Ranger, I was really enjoying the second episode "The Shannara Chronicles" more because it featured guest stars like Richard Dean Anderson and Don Cheadle! In addition to having great actors, this show is really drawn well, with superb special effects and a fast-paced action/adventure story. I hope that Black Ranger does well, because I would watch this series every week if possible!
