An excellent 15-track drum & bass selection here from Section's Locked Up Music label. Conscience & Taelimb's 'Latex' kicks us off in fine deep, minimal style, while SR's pounding jungle roller 'Bassline' plays us out. In between you'll find brooding neurofunk (see, for instance, Cynical Gene's 'Jokes On You'), lively liquid-leaning steppers (Section's 'We Need You'), percussion-led tear-outs (Dapz's 'Hidden Messages'), dreamy, dubby near-ambience (Marcus Tee's 'Visions Of A Life Not Mine' feat Shyrren5) and pretty much all shades in-between, making for a pleasingly varied package that's also great value for money.
