Participants in the study ate an 800-calorie breakfast each morning for two weeks and then exercised about one hour each day for the following six weeks. As a control, some people didn’t participate in any lifestyle changes or exercise. In addition to measuring their food intake, participants took exercise diaries throughout the study.
