A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a young woman who was shot in the head at a Philadelphia bar. 
Anthony Nelson, from Philadelphia, was apprehended by the U.S.
Marshals Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City on Wednesday. 
He is now facing several charges, including murder, for the shooting death of 21-year-old Jailene Holton on June 28 at Philly Bar and Restaurant.
'We were able to arrest him once we developed the lead and determined he was in the Harrah's Casino,' said Robert Clark, s'He will also be charged as a fugitive of justice because he crossed state lines,' Clark explained.





Nelson, 47, who is from Philadelphia was found to be hiding out at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City when he was brought into custody. He is now facing several charges, including murder










'Once he realized we were there and weren't going away, we were able to get him into custody safely without anybody getting hurt,' said Robert Clark, supervisor of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. 'We do believe that he knew he was wanted,' he added






James Holton shared his frustration at the 'reckless shooting' in Philly after his niece Jailene Holton, who had just recently turned 21, was shot in Philly Bar and Grill on Tuesday night










Holton was at the back of the bar with other patrons when the man began shooting from the parking lot, about 200 feet away from the bar

Once outside, Nelson allegedly fired 15 shots toward the building from the parking lot before fleeing in a dark-colored pickup truck.

Ten bullets hit the outside of the building, and five punctured the glass windows. 
One of those bullets hit Holton, who was standing with other patrons at the rear of the venue.
She was the only person hit by a bullet in the shooting.
One other patron, a man, was injured from the broken glass and was treated. 
Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said they found Holton 'unresponsive' and 'suffering from a gunshot wound to the head,' according to the . 
She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed an emergency surgery, but she eventually succumbed to her injuries around 4am, according to the Daily Beast. 
Holton's mother, who was not named, told Fox 29 that the hardest part was that Holton 'never goes out.' 
Uncle, James Holton, recalled being shocked upon hearing the news.
'I'm on my way home from work and I get the call and I'm like: 'What do you mean she's been shot?'' he told [url=].

'She was a good kid. She worked and was home a lot. She wasn't a street person and didn't go out often. She stood to herself.'





Nelson is alleged to have fired 15 shots, with 10 hitting the building and five hitting the glass windows.

Holton was the only person hit by a bullet in the shooting





The city has seen more than 250 homicides already this year.
Last year, the city recorded the worst ever homicide rate with 562 in a year.  
'Someone goes out for 10 or 15 minutes and they're dead,' Holton said dejectedly.

'How is that fair? How many children have to die for people to say enough is enough?' 
He also told the outlet that Mayor Larry Krasner needs to 'stop handcuffing' police and for authorities to 'stop coddling these criminals and hold people accountable.'
