I was genuinely unaware of the need for a diaper wipe warmer as I made the baby's registry. I'm a first-time mom and I didn't believe it was going to really matter if the wipes were warm or not but I quickly realized that I was wrong. My infant daughter screamed each when we used a cold wipe during diaper changes. It disturbed her sleep and we'd stay up all night needing to comfort her to get her back to sleep.
By using the warmer I never need to worry about crying baby during transition from shock cleaning her up with a cold washcloth. The fact that it warms from the top helps keep the rest of the wipes from becoming dry.
