Today there are a number of characteristics of packaging film, and as a rule, you can find them in the card of the corresponding product.

STRETCH FILM ROLL WIDTH
The main and most common width is 500 mm. It is this stretch wrapping film that you can buy on the pages of our website. And it is this stretch that is standard on the territory of Ukraine.

These rolls are the most convenient to use for both manual and machine packaging. However, it is very rare to find rolls up to 1 m wide. For example, such stretch film rolls are sometimes used in Poland.



In addition to 500 mm, there is a packaging stretch film with a width of:

250 mm
125 mm
Sometimes it is also called "cutting". Such a position is always made to order and is manufactured in batches of at least one or two pallets.

Winding is different and there are no standards here. In fact, each manufacturer sets its own winding. In addition, it is worth focusing on the weight of the roll, and not on its footage. For the reason that it is not possible to check the winding of the stretch, given the fact that the film can be stretched three times.

What is our advice in this case? Buy stretch film based not on its winding, but on the weight of the roll. And consider winding as a secondary indicator.
