By day twelve she said that the cat was almost like a normal cat - clean and sweet, smelled nice, was filling out, was content and gave her no concern at all about his chances of being able to survive.


She was already sleeping in bed with him at this point as well.


It's great to report that the cats' owners were amazed by the different cat they returned home to. We can only hope they stayed with the diet of raw cat food Susan had had the courage to try.


The cat was in his middle years, so the purging period in the beginning of his diet was smaller than what a cat of a higher age might experience.


It's worth every moment of the disgust your cat may treat you with during the first days, while they acclimatise to raw cat food. They may be angry at you, refuse the food, paw the food as if they want to put it in a jar, turn their back at you, the works.
